The Simple Touch

Take five guys who just want to entertain and couple that with original material, fantastic melodies, tight harmonies and rock solid musicianship and you have The Simple Touch.

The make up of the band which hails from North Berwick is as follows:

Rob Hiley - Songwriting/Vocals/Guitar
James Ross - Songwriting/Vocals/Guitar
Chris Rawson - Drums/Percussion
Stephen MacKinnon - Keyboards/Synthesiser
James Lowe - Bass Guitar

The Simple Touch write, arrange and deliver their own original material which has been influenced by the Scottish landscape, environment and its musicians. The band members have been friends since their school days and have experienced the joys of university life.

They supported The Donnie Munro Band in 2009 and in May 2010 are lined-up for the Rock4Life Festival at Whiteness near Inverness. This event is being held to raise funds for the Highland Hospice, Inverness and headline acts are Status Quo and Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel. In August the Simple Touch head for Denmark to play the Tange So Festival.
