Darvel Music Festival #2
Last year's festival kicked off with the talented Brian Molley Jazz Quartet. A traditional evening of music was then provided on the following night by the Living Tradition with legendary folk hero Archie Fisher plus Hebridean songstress/clarsac player Maggie MacInnes and Ayrshire singer Heather Heywood.

Saturday of week one finished with the R&B sound of Fraser Speirs and Friends.

Music workshops for local school children ran on the first day of week two.
The Scottish Guitar Quartet showcased their skills on Thursday of week two and this was followed on Friday with the sounds of Sinatra from Robert Scott and his Jazz Sextet.

Headliners of last year's festival were Hue & Cry who reformed for a one off special performance on the Saturday night.
